Big Oak Arts offers workshops and classes in fine and decorative arts, with nationally acclaimed artist-teachers who are dedicated to helping students achieve their personal best. Our mission is to provide the pinnacle of artistic instruction in a relaxed but highly functional environment.
Sorry, due to scheduling conflicts William Cochrans Spring 2012 classes have had to be rescheduled for 2013.

We had a wonderful time hosting William Cochran's Trompe l'oeil Mastery Workshops in 2011!

We had students from as far away as Brazil and as close as El Dorado Hills this time around. The students made great strides in their work, and were such fun to have around! A delightful and hardworking group! Mr. Cochran's professionalism, generosity and demeanor combined with his exceptional work demonstrates why he's one of the country's finest and sought after public artists.

Huge progress….I owe it all to Big oaks Arts… Finding the artist in myself again has been a ton of work... Felt like I was digging to China with a spoon. But being with you at your place was like bringing in a backhoe!
